Well the Day has come and Gone!
Well, the big 4-0 has come and gone and I have to say that I have been feeling fabulous since! I feel rejuvenated! A new chapter is beginning and it is exciting to see what this decade will bring. I was blessed to receive some very wonderful gifts from family and friends. Gifts I will remember I received on this particular birthday. Cue photo's...

Being a December baby, I always get Christmas paper wrapped Birthday gifts, Stephanie was so sweet to use Birthday wrapping paper (and it is freakin' Care Bear to boot)! She even said, she always makes sure to send in Birthday paper, no matter what time of year! Yeah Stephanie! <3
I have to admit my heart stopped a few beats when I saw Lorac! I have only heard amazing things, and it is not sold in Canada!!! It is absolutely stunning! :)

And no birthday is complete without Birthday Cake!!! One of my good friends from High School now owns her own bakery. My mom surprised me, by having her make me a cake. Omg, it is something I will need to eat again before I turn 41, lol. It is called a Maple Whoopie Pie Cake. Her store is called The Sweet North Bakery and is located in down town Port Arthur in Thunder Bay, ON.
Yes, it was best then it even looks!!! Seriously, best ever Birthday Cake!
